Dataharvest 2015 has ended
Dataharvest/EIJC, the European Investigative and Data Journalism Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest/EIJC15 will take place on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday morning 10 May 2015, with a pre-conference Hackaton on Thursday 7 May. Like the previous years, the conference will take place in the centre of Brussels.

Luuk Sengers is an independent investigative journalist and teacher/trainer. He writes data driven stories about environment, climate and business for De Groene Amsterdammer. And he teaches investigative techniques, data journalism and interview skills to journalists, media, NGOs and students. He is also one of the developers of the Story-Based Inquiry methode, a world benchmark for investigative storytelling.
Earlier in his career he worked as a business reporter at several Dutch national newspapers and magazines, like NRC Handelsblad, Quote and Intermediair.
Luuk teaches at universities and in news rooms, but has also trained and advised NGO's like Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth. He co-authored six books about investigative reporting and he regularly speaks at IRE, GIJC, CIJ and Data Harvest conferences, the world’s leading forums for investigative journalisms best practices. He served ten years in the board of the VVOJ, the Dutch-Belgium association of investigative journalists.
