Dataharvest 2015 has ended
Dataharvest/EIJC, the European Investigative and Data Journalism Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest/EIJC15 will take place on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday morning 10 May 2015, with a pre-conference Hackaton on Thursday 7 May. Like the previous years, the conference will take place in the centre of Brussels.

Katrin McGauran is a member of SOMO’s Economic Justice and Production & Consumption teams and coordinates SOMO’s Tax Justice Programme.

Before joining SOMO as a researcher in 2009, Katrin worked for a number of NGOs on issues ranging from human rights to EU justice and home affairs issues (Statewatch, London). She has written extensively on migrants’ rights and law in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands and has co-written a number of research reports on the role of the Netherlands in international tax avoidance and its negative impact on development goals, with a focus on Dutch taxation treaties.

Katrin holds a PhD in Law and a BA in Social Anthropology and Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London). She is fluent in English, German and Dutch.
