Dataharvest 2015 has ended
Dataharvest/EIJC, the European Investigative and Data Journalism Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest/EIJC15 will take place on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday morning 10 May 2015, with a pre-conference Hackaton on Thursday 7 May. Like the previous years, the conference will take place in the centre of Brussels.

Alessia Cerantola is a journalist, co-founder and reporter of the Investigative Reporting Project Italy (IRPI). In 2013 she was a Transatlantic Media Fellow at the Center for Strategic  and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.. Since 2007 her reports and features from Italy, Japan, South Korea, and the US have been published and broadcast by a cross section of media including Internazionale, the European Journalism Center, la Repubblica, Il Sole 24 ore, Ansa,  il Manifesto, Wired, OCCRP, Radio Rai, Sky TV, NHK, Al Jazeera, and the BBC World Service. She has been honored with eight awards and special mentions, including the Freedom of the Press Award 2012 by Reporters Without Borders and UNESCO (Austria). She is a blogger at Il Fatto Quotidiano and at the BBC College of Journalism. After graduating with a four year Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies at the University of Venice with a major in Japanese language, she attended a two-year Master course in Journalism at the University of Turin and a one year Master course in Corporate finance at Venice University.
