Dataharvest 2015 has ended
Dataharvest/EIJC, the European Investigative and Data Journalism Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest/EIJC15 will take place on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday morning 10 May 2015, with a pre-conference Hackaton on Thursday 7 May. Like the previous years, the conference will take place in the centre of Brussels.

LuxLeaks and how to unveil tax havens in Europe
From LuxLeaks and onwards: the impressive and award-winning LuxLeaks revelations carried out by the ICIJ pointed out the problem of access to tax avoidance in the heart of Europe. But Luxembourg is not the only country with such provisions. Also other EU countries assist companies to avoid paying taxes in the country of activity, as recent research by Dutch think-tank SOMO shows. While LuxLeaks had a leak as starting point, SOMO started from scratch. Hear the methodology of both examples and learn how to unravel tax avoidance schemes.
