Dataharvest/EIJC, the European Investigative and Data Journalism Conference organised by Journalismfund.eu, is the most relevant networking event for investigative and data journalists in Europe. Dataharvest/EIJC15 will take place on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday morning 10 May 2015, with a pre-conference Hackaton on Thursday 7 May. Like the previous years, the conference will take place in the centre of Brussels.

Thanks to Edward Snowden we know that the American NSA together with its European partners collects massive amounts of personal data. But who uses these data, for what purpose and how? And who helps them? Tony Bunyan from Statewatch reveals and analyses on-going negotiations between the EU and the USA for an ”Umbrella Personal Data Exchange Agreement”. His talk will be based on secret documents, not yet known. Expect news.

Staffan Dahllöf (1955) is a freelance reporter based in Copenhagen. Dahllöf is a member of the Farmsubsidy team. In 1993 he was co-editor and co-author of "Journalisternas EG-handbok", a guide in Swedish on EC/EU reporting. Since 1994 he has been engaged in courses on EU reporting arranged by The Swedish Institute for Further Education of Journalists (FOJO) and by the European Journalist Center (EJC) in Maastricht.
